Building Insurance
You must have buildings insurance for your property and we can provide a specialist letting policy which will cover the things an ordinary buildings policy won’t such as malicious damage by tenants, cover when unoccupied between lets, loss of rental income or alternative accommodation costs, employers liability, accidental damage.
Contents Insurance
You can opt to have contents insurance which covers things such as furniture, furnishings, carpets and appliances. This insurance can also come with tenant accidental damage (e.g. if they drop an iron on the carpet) and includes unoccupied periods between tenancies in case of burglary etc.
Rental Warranty
We can also insure the rent your tenant pays. What if they lose their job and can’t pay you the rent or a couple split up leaving the other to pay all the rent. A rental warranty is available to cover this which will pay the monthly rent for the duration of the tenancy agreement (usually 6 months) and also covers all the legal expenses for eviction
